Ethical rules and procedures<\/h2>\n

The research work carried out by laboratory members is governed by the French Charter of Research Ethics (see PDF document<\/a> [French only]).<\/p>\n

Within this framework, the University of Paris-Saclay has set up the Conseil pour l’\u00c9thique de la Recherche et l’Int\u00e9grit\u00e9 Scientifique de l’Universit\u00e9 Paris-Saclay (see the POL\u00c9THIS website<\/a> [French only]), whose mission is to develop a shared culture of ethical reflection and commitment within the University.<\/p>\n

To comply with research ethics rules, research protocols involving human subjects and interventional procedures must be submitted to and approved by a Comit\u00e9 de Protection des Personnes (CPP). The CPP is responsible for issuing a prior opinion on the validity of any research involving human subjects, based on the criteria defined in article L 1123-7 of the French Public Health Code (CSP).<\/p>\n<\/div>
