The IBISC laboratory welcomes Dr. Julien Signoles, <\/strong>Director of Research at CEA List<\/strong>, to give a presentation at the IBISC laboratory on October 23, 2025<\/span><\/span> between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., with the aim of presenting the research activities of CEA List<\/p>\n

The seminar will take place at the IBGBI site of the University of \u00c9vry Paris-Saclay, in the meeting room on the 3rd floor.<\/p>\n

Abstract<\/u><\/h2>\n

This presentation will introduce the main R&D activities conducted at CEA List. These cover robotics, responsible AI, digital twins, quantum computing, software systems engineering, and computing architectures. They are applied in particular to key areas of application, notably cybersecurity, mobility, the circular economy, the environment, and health. The presentation will be illustrated by some recent landmark results.<\/p>\n

This overview will provide an opportunity to discuss topics of common interest between List and IBISC.<\/p>\n

Mini CV<\/u><\/h2>\n
Julien SIGNOLAS is a research director at CEA List. His research focuses on formal methods for software safety and security. He teaches at several engineering schools and universities (in 2025, \u00c9cole Polytechnique, Telecom SudParis, CentraleSupelec Rennes, \u00c9cole des Mines Paris, Universit\u00e9 Bretagne Sud). He is a member of the ANSSI scientific council and the scientific committee of the GDR GPL (\u201cProgramming and Software Engineering\u201d) scientific committee, where he co-chairs the \u201cLanguages and Program Verification\u201d working group. He is also the scientific correspondent for the Software and Systems Engineering Department (DILS) at CEA List and Deputy Director of Research at the Graduate School of Computer Science and Digital Sciences (GS ISN) at Paris-Saclay University.<\/p>\n<\/div>
