Importing the Sentinel HASP Run‑time Environment Installer Components for use with Windows Embedded

The following instructions describe how to import the Sentinel HASP Run‑time Environment Installer components for use with the Windows Embedded Components database or Windows Embedded Images.

  1. Open the Microsoft Component Database Manager utility.
  2. In the Database tab, click the Import button. The Import SLD window is displayed.
  3. In the SLD file field, select the akshasp.sld file. You can click the browse button to navigate to the file.
  4. Click Close. The window closes and the Sentinel HASP Run‑time Environment Installer components are added to the database.
  5. To use the Sentinel HASP Run‑time Environment Installer components in Windows Embedded images, open the Microsoft Target Designer utility. The Sentinel HASP components are displayed in the left pane of the Target Designer, under Hardware > Devices > Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
  6. Select the required components and use to generate new images or add to existing images.
