The document entitled August 2025 data update for “Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators”, written by John P.A. Ioannidis (Stanford University), defines indicators using, among other things, Elsevier’s CiteScore, and has been used to compile a list of the “most cited” authors in 22 major scientific fields, including 174 scientific subfields.
Two lists of researchers were compiled using these indicators from the Elsevier database (SCOPUS). In the August 2025 update, three IBISC members/associate members appear:
- Mohammed CHADLI (Full Professor Univ. Évry, IBISC SIAM team), in the list of most cited authors for the year 2024-2025 and in the list of most cited authors throughout their careers.
- Saïd MAMMAR (Full Professor Univ. Évry, IBISC SIAM team), in the list of most cited authors throughout their careers.
- Véronique BILLAT (Full Professor, University of Évry, associate member of IBISC SIAM team), in the list of most cited authors for the year 2024-2025 and in the list of most cited authors throughout their careers.
