Salma Makboul, Senior Lecturer at the IBISC laboratory (University of Évry Paris-Saclay), has been selected for the #YoungWomen4OR 2025-26 award.
This program, initiated by the WISDOM Forum of EURO (The Association of European Operational Research Societies), in collaboration with national societies such as ROADEF, aims to promote young women emerging in operational research (OR), whether from academia or industry. It offers increased visibility for the work of the award winners via EURO channels, an invitation to present at the EURO-k conference, networking and mentoring opportunities with senior researchers in Europe, and support for the development of research projects.
Salma Makboul is part of the 2025-26 cohort alongside other talented young researchers. This recognition highlights her contributions in robust optimization, mathematical programming, and health applications (surgical planning, home care).
Congratulations to Salma on this prestigious award, which recognizes excellence in operational research at the University of Évry Paris-Saclay and, more specifically, at the IBISC laboratory!
